• Hello, wonderful fans! We have big news for you! On November 19th at the Art Theatre in Long Beach, Midnight Insanity is putting on The Homo Horror Picture Show! In this absolutely hilarious show, every part is played by one of our talented male cast members. That is right, EVERY PART! Don’t miss this extremely entertaining performance, you will regret it! And don’t miss the sister show to Homo Horror, The Dykey Horror Picture Show on December 17th at the Art Theatre in Long Beach. Dykey Horror is the opposite of Homo Horror, where every part is played by one of our lovely female cast members. This is always one of the sexiest shows of the year, so don’t miss out!

• Greetings fabulous audience members! As you know, Halloween is quickly approaching. For us at Midnight Insanity, this is our absolute favorite time of year so we decided to celebrate this horrifying holiday by having TWO shows!
  
• We will be performing at midnight on Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th. This year we chose to up the scary fun and have The ZOMBIE Horror Picture show on the 29th! Long Beach is having their fourth annual Zombie Walk on the same day, so we decided to join in the infectious celebration! If you want to see your favorite Rocky Horror characters zombified, than make sure to attend The Zombie Horror Picture Show!
  
• Both shows will be held at The Art Theatre located at 2025 E. 4th St., Long Beach, CA 90814. Tickets are $11 and both events are 17+ or must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Come celebrate Halloween with the one and only MIDNIGHT INSANITY!

• We have returned for WEEKLY shows at the beautiful Art Theatre in Long Beach. We missed our wonderful audience members dearly, and can’t wait to ‘Time Warp’ with you again!
  
• We are so happy to have a home once more (and just in time for Halloween!), and we want to share our joy with all of you! Come visit us at our new location – The Art Theatre 2025 E 4th St., Long Beach, CA 90814
  
• Tickets are $11 and audience members under 17 are not permitted without a parent or legal guardian.
  
• We are now accepting cast applications, so join cast! We are looking for a multitude of stage roles as well as behind the scenes roles, so fill out an application and hand it over to our fabulous cast leader, Megan.

• Midnight Insanity is sad to announce that Brandon Humphrey and Matt Peters have left cast ... however, we are happy to announce that Megan Choate will be taking over Brandon's position as Stage Director, working with Mandi Wallingford.

• Hoopla Denton! And a Happy Spring Break to you all! For starters we have had two "firsts" this month. Starting with an AWSOME "Black Swan" Trixie preformed by Jenna and Dakota, which you can see on Youtube if you missed it, then followed by Sidell's First Rocky Performance. Way to go you guys!
  
• This April we have had some crazy theme nights. A very fun and funny April Fools Show where not only did we show the movie backwards, but added a few bonus songs in just to throw you off. We also punked our Trixie, making her work double speed just to keep up with the music. Check out the Show Pics for links to the videos.
  
• Next we had our The Rocky Horrible Picture Show, not only was it horrifying funny but also kind of scary. Snookie and Paris duked it out, Charlie Sheen was kind of stuck in a chair, and Justin Bieber started things off with Tommy Wiseau, and our lovely Trixie Sarah Palin. We also had two Rocky Horrible Contest Winners: Katie as Eddie Hill, and Linda as Ke$ha. Congrats you guys!
  
• As you know some of us went to the 4711 Con in Atlantic City, NJ, and what fun we had! We dragged it up at the Drag Karaoke party. Gary Shail (Oscar Drill from Shock Treatment) performed musical numbers for us, before we saw the awesome Shocky shadow cast do their thing. Then Saturday was spent talking to the always-sexy Patricia Quinn; and watching our very own Fabulous Redhead, Jordan, do her trannie thing on the stage for the big Rocky performance. As for the parties, well they were so fun even Patricia Quinn couldn’t stay away from them!
  
• If you like the idea of attending a con, in the near but far future we have a Mini Con coming up the last week of July calledMidnight Insanity West Coast Mini EconoCon. Think Friday party, Saturday come to the show, and on Sunday come out in daytime and join us for our annual Rockystock picnic in the park. So come all and join us for the fun!
  
• May is almost upon us and we have a theme night you all will enjoy. Do you remember the 80’s? (I don’t) If you do then on May 14th you’ll get a flash back to that, it is our 80s night!!! So take a look in the back of the closet and pull out that bra you wore after you saw that awesome Madonna video, Guys channel your inner Prince. Rip up those jeans and spray every ounce of hairspray in that can, and don’t forget those leg warmers. Still don’t know what the hell to do then why not take a look at the pictures from the other years we’ve done it.
  
• Well that all the announcements we have for you. WAIT, this just came in, Brandon is playing Frank on Lingerie Night on April 30th, don’t want to miss out on that now do you? We’ll see you all on Saturday!!

Jonathan's Story

I was camping in the Cuddleback lake beds with a friend and his old scout troop. They asked if I wanted to go with them to climb Fremont Peak and I happily obliged. after about 3 hours we finally got to the top. About 1/4 of the way down i got to a pretty steep rock face that was followed by an immediate 12-15ft drop. I got near the edge and found a lip in the rock face to grab onto, and as I was reaching over the ledge for some footing, the lip broke off.Ii fell and hit my face against the rock wall that was in front of me, and I broke my wrist trying to brace the impact. Once i landed on the ground, i had to climb the rest of the way down the mountain, as well as hike 5 miles back to the campsite. My worst fear about the fall? not thinking I'd be able to go to rocky!

• Hoopla Denton! March Mustache Madness was a HUGE success on the 5th, especially coupled with our very special BLU-RAY FLOOR SHOW PERFORMANCE! If you missed it, you missed out.
  
• Our other big piece of awesomeness last month was DISNEY NIGHT. Classic characters like Cinderella, Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell, and Cruella De Vil, and some extremely sexy fairies and princesses, showed up to help us celebrate.
  
• SSHHH! Show up to the Regency no questions asked on the first Saturday in April, the 2nd, for a secret APRIL FOOLS DAY special performance.
  
• Coming up on April 16th, the ROCKY HORRIBLE SHOW rears its ugly head once again! Do not miss it, because it’s bound to be, well, horrible. But horrible in the best possible way.
  
• In NEW PEOPLE news, we have two new spot light operators, Jenny and Ashley, and one new usherette, Taylor. Keep an eye out for them all, and be sure to give them a *special* MI welcome. That’s right, I mean butt sex. And on that note, that’s all the news this month. Keep coming to the show, because watching the movie at home is like masturbation: it’s lonely and it’s sad.

• Hoopla Denton, what a month it has been!! We appreciate everyone who came and dressed up for our Valentines Day Lingerie Night. Congrats to Jaime and Diego for being our winners. If you somehow missed it (or just can't get enough), don't forget we have Lingerie Night again this coming Saturday. Treat yourself to a double helping!!
  
• As you may have noticed, we added a Big Vagina as part of props. Yes the Big Penis just wasn’t enough. Now you have visuals of both. Please remember to use the proper bathrooms.
  
• Next month don’t forget to grow or buy your mustaches as March 5th is our Mustache Madness night!! Also before that Saturday watch some of the special features on your Rocky Horror Blu-Ray. We will be having some special performers guest staring at our show.
  
• Be sure to dress up as your favorite Disney prince/princess or villain, on March 12th. You get to pick a character and Rockyize it if you like.
  
• We also have a Time Warp weekend so turn your clocks one hour ahead on March 12th. Tell your friends you're gonna just have to be late to everything because you lost an hour.
  
• On April 2nd be ready for a special surprise, an "April Fools" Rocky joke that only MI can pull off.

• Hoopla Denton! First of all, Midnight Insanity would like to thank all the alumni, regulars, and virgins who came out to our 23rd Birthday Show on January 15th! We were so happy to celebrate another year of debauchery, and even happier about the incredible turnout. We hope you won't wait until our 24th birthday to come back, because 2011 will be a great year.

• Heather and Kate have recently joined cast as members of the tech crew. If you see floating balls of light illuminating the performers, that's them (they're spot operators...). Congrats to both of you, get ready to see your life fade away in a haze of lingerie and rice.
  
• We have added a new feature on the MI Facebook page.
